Former Pac 10 leading scorer Jennifer Ruff-Adams joins Northwest Sports Women’s Touring Team

Ex Washington State player Jenni Ruff-Adams has committed to play for the Northwest Sports new Women’s touring exhibition basketball team for the 2002 and 2003 seasons.

Jenni, from Mossyrock, WA graduated Washington State in 1996. In the 95-96 season Jenni lead the Pac 10 in scoring with a 23.6 average. Over a three-year span, Jenni started every game while playing basketball for the Cougars. She is the only WSU player to score more than 30 points in six different games, including establishing a school record of 41 points, during her senior season. Ruff graduated holding six school records.

Following Washington State Jennifer moved to the ABL where she played one season with the San Jose Lasers followed by a season with Long Beach Stingrays. Jenni retired following the 1998 season when the ABL folded.

Jennifer currently lives in Phoenix, AZ where she has been working with the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury as a broadcaster. She also holds a position with an accounting firm in Phoenix. Jennifer married former WSU football standout Kearney Adams and they have a three-year-old son Trey.
