For the third straight season Northwest Sports will provide a limited number of exhibition games on behalf of Sports Tours International. Sport Tours International, Inc, America’s leader in arranging international games for American college basketball teams, has agreed to allow Northwest Sports to continue a partnership and joint marketing. This will give Northwest Sports the ability to sign college exhibition games as part of menﾒs and womenﾒs college basketball teams foreign tours.
Division 1 teams will now be able to have Northwest Sports provide a domestic men’s or women’s exhibition team and have the ability to include a foreign tour package as part of the negotiable guarantee.
In 2003 Northwest Sports will provide teams to Sport Tours to play top programs including Arkansas, Akron, IUPUI and Big East opponent West Virginia. It has been increasingly difficult to find a foreign exhibition teams to take on some of the nations premier college, especially after 9/11. Northwest Sports will continue to fill the void for those teams who want both a competitive exhibition game and a great foreign tour.
