Baden Sports, Inc. an independent,.family-owned company, has entered into an agreement with Northwest Sports & Entertainment on an exclusive marketing agreement for the next two years. Baden is renowned in the industry for its PASSION FOR A BETTER GAME™. Baden entered the athletic ball market in 1979 to address the need for higher quality products. Unique from its competitors for which athletic balls are only a secondary business, Baden focuses 100% of its attention on designing and producing the finest and broadest range of athletic balls in the industry.
As part of the newly formed partnership with Northwest Sports, Baden will enjoy several marketing opportunities including owning the naming rights for Northwest Sports Women’s Basketball Touring team. In 2004 Baden Sports Women are set to play 12 NCAA teams including University of Arizona, Oklahoma State, Washington, and Top 10 powerhouse Stanford.
Baden will also be a key contributor the annual “Comcast Battle in Seattle.” Baden will serve as the official Basketball of the game, which is a showcase for Gonzaga University and is a nationally televised event between Gonzaga and the 2004 opponent UMASS. As part of the weekend festivities Baden will also co-host with NW Sports and Gonzaga the annual award presented to a person whom has given his life and passion to the game of basketball in the Pacific Northwest. This year’s honoree will be former Idaho head coach Don Monson.
Baden will also be very key in several other events Northwest Sports & Entertainment will produce over the next couple of years including the Arizona High School Coaches Associations Volleyball and Basketball All-star games. Baden will also serve as official Basketball of other college neutral site games for 2005 that have yet to be announced.
