Seattle, Wash. -Tickets for this year’s Comcast Battle in Seattle, featuring the Gonzaga Bulldogs and the Davidson Wildcats are on sale now!
The Comcast Battle in Seattle has set attendances records in the past and last year’s game sold out. Tickets for Seattle’s premiere basketball event may be purchased at www.battleinseattle.com/tickets, www.ticketmaster.com, or at any Ticketmaster location.
The game Dec. 12 at Seattle’s KeyArena will match Mark Few, Matt Bouldin and Gonzaga University against Bob McKillop and Davidson College, a re-match of the 2008 NCAA first-round game in Raleigh, N.C.
After breaking out to a perfect record in the first three years of the Comcast Battle in Seattle, Gonzaga suddenly finds itself in the midst of a three game losing streak in this annual event. Last season the 2nd ranked University of Connecticut Huskies defeated the 7th ranked Bulldogs 88-83. The 2008 Comcast Battle in Seattle lived up to expectations as the overtime thriller created an atmosphere reminiscent of a March Madness game.
The Bulldog’s three victories in the history of the event have come over Missouri (2003), UMass (2004), and Oklahoma State (2005).
