The 2009 Cougar Hardwood Classic presented by Seattlepi.com set the broke the record for the largest crowd WSU men’s basketball has ever played in front of in the State of Washington at 15,341 fans. The previous high was 12,471 during the 2007 game in Seattle as the Cougars defeated The Citadel 67-45.
