Courtside and Davidson seats to be released Tuesday at 10:00am

December 7, 2009

Seattle, Wash. – Beginning at 10:00am Pacific Time Tuesday morning December 8th, premium courtside seats as well as all the Davidson lower level tickets to the 2009 Comcast Battle in Seattle will be made available for purchase to the general public.  These seats were originally holds for the promoter and the Davidson athletic department.

Gonzaga fans have just one chance a year to see the Bulldogs play at Seattle’s KeyArena and only a limited number of tickets remain for that game December 12th when the #21 Zags take on the Davidson Wildcats.

To purchase tickets contact Ticketmaster over the phone at 800-745-3000, visit any Ticketmaster outlet or go to www.ticketmaster.com.

Fewer than 3,500 tickets remain for the contest between the Bulldogs and Wildcats.  Fans are encouraged to purchase those tickets as soon as possible to ensure the second consecutive sellout in the Comcast Battle in Seattle.

The Dec. 12 game will match Mark Few, Matt Bouldin and Gonzaga University against 2008 National Coach of the Year Bob McKillop and Davidson College, a re-match of the 2008 NCAA first-round game in Raleigh, N.C.

The 2008 Comcast Battle in Seattle lived up to expectations as a sellout crowd of 16,763 fans witnessed the 2nd ranked University of Connecticut Huskies defeated the 7th ranked Bulldogs 88-83.  The overtime thriller created an atmosphere reminiscent of a March Madness game.
