Wichita Wildcat Classic

Kansas State men’s basketball will make a return to Wichita next season when the Big 12 Conference champions face current No. 1 Gonzaga in the Wichita Wildcat Classic on Saturday, Dec. 21 at INTRUST Bank Arena. The game will rematch the two ranked teams which met earlier this season in the State Farm Battle in Seattle won by Gonzaga.

Kelly Olynyk dominated inside with 20 points and No. 14 Gonzaga rebounded from its first loss of the season with an impressive 68-52 win over Kansas State in the 10 year anniversary of  the State Farm Battle in Seattle.This event has an annual economic impact to Seattle of 2 million dollars and holds the attendance record for college basketball in the state of Washington.

Cougar Hardwood Classic

DaVonte Lacy scored 19 points, Brock Motum added 15 and Washington State used a big second half run to escape with a 65-54 victory over Buffalo.  Buffalo led 49-48 with 7:02 left before the Cougars used a 13-1 run to pull away. The Bulls went nearly six minutes without a field goal during Washington State’s run.

Held in Spokane on the campus of Gonzaga University, this game featured NBA all-stars and former Gonzaga University greats. Dan Dickau and his wife Heather donate their energies to this event while selecting the charities that receive donations.

The Arizona Republic All-Star Basketball Classic

The inaugural basketball event held at Jobing.com Arena in 2004 as way to showcase Arizona’s best senior class high school boy’s and girl’s basketball players, this game allowed these players the opportunity to compete one last time as a high school student.

Nearly 100 people attended the first ever Hangover Halloween Horror Party. The night was full of great costumes, delicious food, drinks and entertainment. The Hangover Kids Movie World Premier was a major hit. Costume contest winners included Tiger Woods and Lady Gaga. Stay tuned for information on the 2010 Halloween party.

Northern Quest Casino Celebrity Poker Tournament presented by Comcast

The Northern Quest Casino Celebrity Poker Tournament was very successful, during its six year run at the Northern Quest Casino’s Kalispel Ballroom. The event raised over $300,000 for Spokane charities Spokane charities that included the American Diabetes Association (Spokane Chapter), Catholic Charities, MOBIUS Children’s Museum, Coaches vs. Cancer, Spokane Hoopfest, and Spokane Youth Sports Association.

The Gonzaga University Bulldogs and University of Hawaii Warriors men’s basketball teams played the first a non-conference game in Vancouver, British Columbia in decades on November 19^th 2011 at Rogers Arena.  The Zags won the inaugural BC Basketball Classic, 73-54.

The inaugural Lumberjack Classic featured Northern Arizona University men’s basketball and Brigham Young University on November 30^th 2011 in Prescott Arizona. The event took place at Tim’s Toyota Center with the BYU Cougars winning 87-52.

Desert Duel Summer Prep Memorial

Idol Sports teamed up with the Desert Duel Summer Prep Memorial, an elite boys basketball invitational that brought together the most distinguished high school basketball players in the country for a high-octane tournament to crown the national boy’s basketball summer champion. Money raised from this event benefited the Tom Crawford’s Leadership Children’s Foundation, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping children.
